Cosmos App by EpicRecap
Effective Date: 15 May 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Cosmos App ("the App"), operated by EpicRecap ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and EpicRecap. Please read them carefully.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are at least 13 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent to use the App.
3. Account Registration
3.1 Account Creation
To use the App, you must create an account by providing your name, email address, phone number, and a password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
3.2 Account Accuracy
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate.
3.3 Account Security
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at accounts@epicrecap.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
3.4 One Account Per Person
Each individual may only maintain one account. Creating multiple accounts may result in termination of all accounts.
4. Description of Service
Cosmos is a personal growth and coaching platform that provides:
- Daily practice tracking and habit-building tools
- Community spaces for discussion and support
- Video-based courses and challenges
- Personal coaching services (GBL, Elite Club) — by application and approval only
- Gamification features including streaks, badges, recognitions, and leaderboards
- Gratitude journaling and mood tracking
- Life assessment tools
5. Membership Tiers and Subscriptions
5.1 Free Tier
New users receive a 7-day free trial of the Nebula tier upon signup. After the trial expires, the account reverts to the Free tier with limited access to practices, community features, and content.
5.2 Paid Tiers
We offer paid subscription tiers (currently Nebula and Stardust) that unlock additional practices, courses, challenges, community features, and content. Tier details, pricing, and included features are displayed within the App.
5.3 Billing and Payment
Subscriptions are billed through Zoho Billing. Payments are processed via Razorpay or other payment methods as offered. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges at the applicable subscription rate until you cancel.
5.4 Pricing Changes
We reserve the right to change subscription pricing. You will be notified at least 30 days before any price increase takes effect. If you do not agree to the new pricing, you may cancel before the next billing cycle.
5.5 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the App settings or by contacting us at accounts@epicrecap.com. Upon cancellation:
- Your paid access continues until the end of the current billing period.
- After the billing period ends, your account reverts to the Free tier.
- Your data (practice history, journal entries, profile) is retained but access to tier-gated content is removed.
5.6 Refunds
We want every payment to feel fair. Below is how refunds work for each kind of purchase on Cosmos App. If you've paid for something and feel a refund situation applies to you, write to accounts@epicrecap.com within 7 days of payment and we'll review your case personally.
5.6.A — Monthly subscriptions (Nebula, Stardust)
Subscription payments are generally non-refundable. You can cancel at any time from your profile, and your access continues until the end of the current billing period — you keep everything you paid for until then. We do not refund the current billing period because subscriptions bundle community access, courses, content, and member events together, and that bundle was available to you throughout the period.
If you experience a technical issue on our end that prevents you from using the service for an extended time, contact us within 7 days. Refund decisions in those cases are at our discretion.
5.6.B — Paid events (one-time payment for workshops and challenges)
When you pay for a single event (workshop, challenge, masterclass, or similar), the payment is non-refundable except in the following circumstances:
- we cancel or reschedule the event in a way that prevents you from attending;
- a duplicate payment was charged to you due to a system error;
- a technical error on our end prevented you from accessing an event you paid for.
Approved refunds are processed within 7 business days to your original payment method.
A note on tier-included events. Some events are included with your Nebula or Stardust subscription. Your subscription bundles community access, courses, and member events together. If you cancel or downgrade your subscription while a tier-included event is still in progress, you will lose access to that event — just as you lose access to other subscription benefits. This is not a refundable circumstance, because the event was a perk of the subscription you chose to end, and you were not charged separately for it.
5.6.C — Personal coaching programs (GBL, Elite Club)
Payments for personal coaching programs are collected separately, outside the app, via bank transfer or UPI as arranged with your coach. These payments are governed by the coaching agreement discussed at the time of enrollment.
Coaching is a high-touch, time-committed relationship. Once a program has commenced — meaning your kickstart call has taken place or your daily practice plan has been issued — payments are non-refundable. If circumstances change for you mid-program, write to your coach; alternative arrangements such as program pauses, transfers to a future cohort, or extensions may be agreed to in writing on a case-by-case basis. We do not pro-rate refunds for unused months.
If you cancel before your kickstart call and before any practice plan has been issued, refund eligibility will be discussed with your coach individually.
5.7 Coaching Program Payments
Payments for personal coaching programs (GBL, Elite Club) are collected separately via bank transfer, UPI, or other methods arranged directly with the coach. These payments are governed by the coaching agreement discussed at the time of enrollment and are non-refundable once the program has commenced unless otherwise agreed in writing.
6. Personal Coaching Programs
6.1 Application and Approval
Personal coaching programs (GBL — Go Beyond Limits, Elite Club) require an application that is reviewed and approved at the coach's discretion. Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance. The coach reserves the right to approve, waitlist, or reject applications based on program capacity and fit.
6.2 Coaching Relationship
The coaching provided through the App is for personal growth, habit-building, and manifestation guidance. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, psychological counseling, psychiatric treatment, or financial advisory services. If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, please contact the appropriate professional immediately.
6.3 Coach Access to Data
By enrolling in a coaching program, you consent to your coach having access to your assessment responses, practice completion data, journal entries, mood data, and messaging within the App. This access is essential for providing personalized coaching guidance.
6.4 Program Duration and Completion
Coaching programs have defined durations (6 or 12 months for GBL; 12 or 18 months for Elite Club). Upon program completion or expiry, coach-prescribed practices are automatically removed. Your community access tier may change based on your active subscription.
7. Community Guidelines
7.1 Acceptable Use
When participating in the community, you agree to:
- Treat all members with respect and kindness.
- Keep discussions constructive and supportive.
- Not post content that is abusive, threatening, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
- Not share spam, advertisements, or unsolicited promotional content.
- Not share external URLs or links in posts or comments (admin-posted links excepted).
- Not impersonate another person or entity.
- Not post content that infringes on any third party's intellectual property rights.
- Not attempt to access content or features beyond your authorized tier level through technical manipulation.
7.2 Content Ownership
You retain ownership of the content you create and post within the App (posts, comments, journal entries, gratitude statements). By posting content in community spaces, you grant EpicRecap a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, distribute, and reproduce such content within the App for the purpose of operating the service.
7.3 Content Removal
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or community guidelines without prior notice. Repeated violations may result in temporary suspension or permanent termination of your account.
7.4 Reporting
If you encounter content that violates these guidelines, you may report it through the App. We will review reported content and take appropriate action.
8. Intellectual Property
8.1 Our Content
The App, including its design, features, course content, affirmation content, practice descriptions, branding, logos, and all associated intellectual property, is owned by EpicRecap and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission.
8.2 Course Content
Course videos, materials, quizzes, and associated content provided within the App are for your personal use only as part of your active subscription. You may not download, record, share, redistribute, or commercially exploit course content.
8.3 Trademarks
"Cosmos," "EpicRecap," "Go Beyond Limits," and associated logos and branding are trademarks of EpicRecap. You may not use these marks without prior written permission.
9. Prohibited Activities
You agree NOT to:
- Use the App for any illegal purpose.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App, other users' accounts, or our systems.
- Use automated scripts, bots, or scraping tools to access or interact with the App.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App.
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality or the servers and networks connected to it.
- Upload viruses, malware, or any other harmful code.
- Circumvent any content protection, tier gating, or access control mechanisms.
- Share your account credentials or allow others to access your account.
- Record, screenshot, or redistribute course or coaching content.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that:
- The App will be available at all times or without interruption.
- The App will be free of errors, bugs, or security vulnerabilities.
- Any specific results will be achieved through the use of the App or coaching services.
- The coaching advice provided will be suitable for your specific circumstances.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EpicRecap and its owner, employees, affiliates, and service providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the App.
Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the App shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless EpicRecap, its owner, employees, and service providers from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
13. Termination
13.1 By You
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at accounts@epicrecap.com or using the account deletion option in the App settings.
13.2 By Us
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for violations of these Terms, community guidelines, or for any reason at our sole discretion.
13.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Data retention after termination is governed by our Privacy Policy.
14. Modifications to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date and notify you via in-app notification or email for significant changes. Your continued use of the App after modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through:
- Amicable negotiation between the parties for a period of 30 days.
- If unresolved, through arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with the seat of arbitration in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India.
- The language of arbitration shall be English.
The courts of Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any matters not subject to arbitration.
16. Miscellaneous
16.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and EpicRecap regarding the App.
16.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
16.3 Waiver
Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
16.4 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms. We may assign our rights without restriction.
